Pray for me – Abednego calls on Hearts fans

Hearts of Oak striker, Abednego Tetteh has emotionally appealed to the teeming club’s fans to go on their knees and say a word of prayer for him in hope that he ends his goal-scoring famine in the Ghana Premier League 2020-21 season.



The towering striker, who completed a summer move to the former Ghana Premier League winners has endured a tumultuous campaign so far.

He made his debut in Hearts’ 2-2 draw with Obuasi Ashantigold and has gone on to play against Inter Allies and Karela United FC respectively which he has since failed to glitter in at the Accra Sports Stadium.

This trend of events has caused the nomadic striker, who prior to his signing for the Rainbow club gave fans lots of promises that, he will win the golden boot as well as help the club end it’s over a decade wait for the Ghana Premier League trophy.

The former Bechem United striker who dazzled many with his goals and stupendous performances before earning a move oversees to Al Hilal has called on fans to pray endlessly for him as well as support him in every possible to break his goal drought which is becoming a headache for him.

“I’m pleading on the fans to remember in prayers so I can pick my scoring boot. I have been training and doing whatever I have to do as a player but I’m still not getting the goals.”

“I’m begging you to rally behind the team and the players so we can return to winning ways.”

This weekend,Hearts of Oak are up against Dawu based Dreams FC in a tricky in matchweek five of the ongoing campaign.
