Ghanaian defender Maxwell Woledzi has joined Portuguese outfit, Vitoria Guimaraes, after successfully passing his medicals at the club.

The 20-year-old, who made a handful of appearances for his Danish side in the just-ended league is said to have impressed upon his new suitors with his technical abilities and qualities which engineered the move for him to Portugal.

The two clubs ironed out the financial details of the move but failed to disclose to the general public how much the player and the selling club will be receiving for this transfer.

Woledzi started his exploits in football through Right to Dream Academy in Ghana before earning a move to Danish club  Nordsjaelland, where he featured in 28 appearances in two seasons.

He will team up with Abdul Mumin for company, who has become a mainstay at the Portuguese club since making his move last season.
