Politics at Nsoatreman FC disrupted my season – Eli Dotse

Ghanaian midfielder McDennis Eli Dotse has expressed disappointment at how his campaign with Nsoatreman FC turned out in the just-ended Ghana Premier League 2022/23.

The central midfielder teamed up with the newly promoted side after penning down a two-year deal following previous stints with King Faisal and WAFA SC.

Speaking to Football View’s Clinton Eleto in a recent interview, he spoke bitterly about his time with the Sunyani-based and how the politics at the club restricted him from getting game time to prove himself to the coach.

“I’m not happy with my performance, I think there was a team for me to play regular football but the politics at Nsoatreman pushed my debut afar which didn’t help my season.

“It’s about having the platform to exhibit what you can do but if you are not getting the opportunity then it becomes a problem”.

On whether he merited a call-up to any of the national setup, the frankly-spoken young man replied, that,
“I haven’t had such a great season to be invited to the national teams, I’m an honest and fair player, I think others are playing better and should be getting the nod”. he ended

Dotse made a few appearances for the newly promoted side and has since left Nsoatreman FC at the end of the Ghana Premier 2022/23 season.
