Patrick Yeboah agrees to join Medeama after Kotoko exit

Former Asante Kotoko defender Patrick Yeboah is inching closer to a move to Tarkwa based, Medeama SC in the ongoing transfer window.

Patrick Yeboah and Kotoko mutually agreed to part ways, this situation raised lots of talking points in the media circles, with many questioning the players’ exit only after joining the club from Karela FC a year ago.

But in a recent media with Accra based Happy FM, he stated that the reason for leaving the Porcupine Warriors was purely personal in nature “For now, I am a free agent as I just terminated my contract with Kotoko. I am available to any club who will need my services”.

There were growing concerns that he was being mistreated, but he denied those allegations saying he wanted more playtime and felt he couldn’t get that hence his exit from the Reds. “Kotoko is a big club and I can’t say they didn’t show me respect “. he ended.

Fresh sources have it that, the former Karela left-back has agreed a three-year deal with the Mauve and Yellows ahead of the start of the new season.
