Aduana Stars’ head coach, Paa Kwesi Fabin remains optimistic about his side’s chances of winning the league despite their heavy loss to Accra Lions at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Ogya boys were looking to put their sham of a bad form behind them after going five games without a win but their woes were compounded by an exciting Ibrahim Tanko side.

Goals in either half by Salifu Apiiga, Evans Botchway and Seidu Basit saw the away side record their heaviest defeat of the season.

Match Preview and Prediction : Hearts of Oak vs Medeama SC

Head coach Paa Kwesi Fabian in his post-match interview with StarTimes on his side’s loss to Accra Lions and their title hopes, he remarked, “Well it has dented the chances but we are not giving up yet, I think we still have a chance to win so we will keep working.”

“Well, to be honest we lost to a better side. They played better than us and we lost so we will see what happens.” he ended.

Aduana Stars’ lead the summit of the table has been cut by a point and could see them toppled by Medeama SC should they beat Accra Hearts of Oak.
