Paa Kwasi Fabin still confident Aduana will clinch the GPL title

Coach of Aduana Stars, Paa Kwasi Fabin still confident Aduana will clinch the GPL tittle even after being held at home by Karela.

Aduana missed out on the opportunity to increase their lead at the top of the league standings after they were unable to win their week 30 game against Karela at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.

Aduana had several chances to score in the first half but were wasteful in front of goal. However, Karela’s solid defensive organization and tactical discipline deserve credit for keeping the game level.

Coach Samuel Fabin expressed his frustration with his team’s missed opportunities in the first half, saying, “We could have finished the game in the first half.”

“We messed them all up. That’s football for you. Every day, we come here, we work on scoring, and yet I don’t know.”

When asked if the draw would harm their chances of winning the title, Fabin responded, “It’s a bit shaky, but we’re still on top, so we’re still fighting.”

“We’ll keep working on it and see what happens. I’m sure we’ll win the league.”

Medeama now have a chance to catch up to Aduana, as they are only two points behind the league leaders after beating Bechem United 2-1 on Monday.

Aduana will travel to face Accra Lions in their next league match.
