Life Patron of Kotoko, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has charged the team to switch up their performances amidst their recent setbacks in the ongoing 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League.

The club has struggled for consistency in the league, with the second round of the league proving the most difficult for the club.

As things stand, they are winless in the last seven games, with six losses, and a draw to cap off a disappointing spell in the league seeing them 11th on the log.

Today, the Interim Management Committee, technical team, and playing body met with Asantehene who sought to find out about the sudden decline of the club’s performance on the field in the second round campaign.

In his meeting, he tasked them to put their differences aside for the common goal of the team “No member of the team works for any individual but him, and therefore should put their differences aside and fight for the team, as he won’t watch the team go down under his reign.”

“I am expecting something better from you,” said Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

“Prove to me that you are capable and if the coach is the problem, then I will decide on him. But for now, make sure you go and play and win.” He told them.

Kotoko will hope to avenge their string of poor results as they take on FC Samartex on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
