    Otto Addo stays on as Black Stars head coach – Executive Council

    The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association has decided to retain Otto Addo as Black Stars following the disastrous showing in the AFCON 2025 series.

     



    The Black Stars were winless in six games, ended with three points, and bottom of the group.

    This development heightened calls for the sacking of Otto Addo by the GFA, squashed following an ExCo meeting on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, to look into the BlackStars’ poor outing for the qualifiers.

    However, circling reports in the media indicate that Otto will stay on and lead the country in the 2026 World Cup qualifying series slated for March 2025.
