    Nurudeen Amadu has ended his stay with FC Samartex as the head coach of the club.

     



    The experienced head took over the reins of the job from Annor Walker in  July 2023.

    The 52-year-old signed a two-year contract with the Samreboi-based club and led them by winning the 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League.

    This season’s campaign has been tough and rife for the timber boys as they sit 10th on the log with 17 points.

    It remains unclear why Nurudeen has decided to leave his post but according to close sources both parties agreed to go their separate ways mutually.

    Assistant coach Henry Wellington will take charge temporarily until a new manager is recruited.

    They will hope for a revival as they face the Hunters at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
