Nsoatreman FC have qualified to the Ghana Premier League ahead of Tamale City in a crucial playoff at Accra Sports Stadium.

The two teams were tied on points,71, heading into the final round of games and had to be separated through a playoff game.

Samuel Ofori shot Nsoatreman ahead with a carefully placed goal beyond the reach of the goalkeeper, Pongo Agbeko to send the fans into ruptures there after Bismark Asare via a penalty spot in the 65th minute to take that match to extra time.

Charles Asante’s goal in the extra time in the 98th minute proved vital for the ‘Efiri Tete Amanaso’ side, who held on to guarantee their premier league status, the first in its history.

Nsoatreman FC joins Tarkwa-based club, Samartex FC and Akyem Oda side, Kotoku Royals as the three teams to advance to the Ghana Premier League next season.
