Kotoko’s prolonged absence for a league victory stretched to six games as they lost at home to Nsoatreman FC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The two teams met for game week twenty-five- a midweek fixture named strong opposing lineups for the duel.

Under fire Kotoko Coach Prosper Ogun Narteh made two changes from last week’s away draw to Bechem United, Steven Mukwala was introduced in attack while Shadrach Addo took the spot of Rocky Dwamena in midfield.

The two teams made their presence known with a wave of attacking intent in the early embers of the game.

A nice build-up play from the right side of the attack of the visitors saw Ali Fuseini and Foster Apetorgbor combine effortlessly to set up Manaf Umar for the game’s opener in the 23rd minute.

Youngster Shadrach Addo pulled the home side parity after a wave of incessant pressure from the Porcupine Warriors in the 42nd minute.

The second half resumed with the two sides having a goal at each other but it was Mohammed Abdul Rahman’s late goal that aided the visitors to a precious win over their host.

The results see the Porcupine Warriors with just a point from six games placing them 10th on the log while the visitors are 5th with 37 points.
