    Nations FC disappointed with GFA’s DC ruling

    Nations FC have expressly rejected the ruling from the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association. 



    The Kumasi based club walked out of their penultimate game against Basake HolyStars which warranted the ruling from the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association.

    The club has via a tweet disagreed with key aspects of the ruling chose not to pursue an appeal.

    We acknowledge the Disciplinary Committee’s decision, albeit with disappointment. While we disagree with key aspects of the ruling, we have chosen not to pursue an appeal.

    The following are the ruling from the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association.

    i. They awarded 3 points and 3 goals to  Basake Holy Stars FC. (Article 33(1)(b) of the GFA Premier League Regulations)

    ii. They also docked three points from Nations FC’s accumulated points. (Articles 33(2) and 34(12))

    ii. They were fined GHC 2,500. (Article 33(5)(a).)
