Kotoko and Aduana Stars will vie for a spot in the quarter finals of the ongoing The MTN FA Cup Round of 16.

The game is set to take place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium with both teams looking to serve their best while hot when they face each other.

The side has managed just a single win from their last five games in the ongoing league, but their form in the MTN FA Cup is opposite, chalking up wins against Future Stars and King Faisal.

It’s been a mixed bag of results for Aduana Stars in the league. Recording two wins from five games hasn’t aided their title ambitions, and more hurtful is their home draw against Samartex. But the Ogya boys will want to switch attention to this weekend as they travel to Kumasi to face Kotoko.

The last time the pair met, it ended in a 1-1 draw at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Both teams know what’s at stake with the competition, as they will look to win with the long-term prospect of qualifying for Africa.
