Nsoatreman FC crowned their season with a win over Bofoakwa Tano in a closely knitted final of the MTN FA Cup on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

The two Bono clubs meeting for the first time at such a stage was either looking to get one over each other having previously met in the league with both games ending goalless.

Nsoatreman shipped in a single goal on their quest to the finals after beating Maana, Victory Club Warriors, Berekum Chelsea, Karela United, and Legon Cities.

On the other hand, Bofoakwa Tano made light work of the following teams: Sunyani Oxford, Berekum City, Wa Power, Skyy FC, and defending champions Dreams FC.

Both teams presented their best bet in personnel on the day.

Twenty-two minutes into play a well-worked goal from Bofoakwa Tano saw Richard Dzikoe slot one past goalkeeper, Daniel Afadzwu in post for Nsotreman FC.

The second half saw Maxwell Konadu’s boys play with lots of energy. Still, their numerous attacking efforts paid off as Sadat Mohammed’s power drive went through the legs of goalkeeper, Emmanuel Kobi for the equalizer in the 79th minute of the game.

Nsoatreman FC prevailed 5-4 on penalties after an exciting 120 minutes without a winner.
