    Defending champions, Kotoko, have been booted out of the MTN FA Cup by Aduana Stars. The host was ousted after a goalless draw game.

    In other games, Dreams FC soared on to the next stage of the competition as they defeated Inter Allies at the Tuba AstroTurf.

    In the battle of the heavyweights from the West, Medeama SC and Samartex had to be separated by a penalty shootout after a pulsating goalless draw after ninety minutes.
