King Faisal put their flattering campaign in the ongoing betPawa Premier League behind them as they dispatched fellow league opponents, Nsoatreman FC at the Abrankese Stadium in a five-goal thriller on Sunday.

The duo were looking to make it to the finals as one of two teams to face Dreams FC, who had beaten Skyy FC, a day before at the same venue.

The game started with a lot of frantic pace and energy, it was least surprising to see Nsoatreman take the lead through, Samuel Ofori in the 8th minute, Baba Yahaya drew his side level in the 35th minute with Frimpong Boateng restoring the Insha Allahu boys into the lead for the first half.

Nana Kwame Junior brought  Nsoatreman FC on level pegging, ten minutes after the resumption of the second half to tie the game at 2-2.

On the 70th-minute mark, Samuel Adom Antwi again gave King Faisal the lead to send their fans into ruptures.

The game was undoubtedly proving a masterpiece for the neutrals who truly enjoyed the game on the pitch off Abrankese.

Coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu having qualified his King Faisal team to the finals of the MTN FA Cup will hope to annex a trophy that has long eluded the Kumasi-based club in his first season at the club.
