Aduana Stars got the better of Kotoko in the penalty shoot-out as the pair went head-to-head in the ongoing MTN FA Cup game at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Either of the two was looking for a slot in the quarter finals of the competition.

The defending champions were handed the fine opportunity to take the lead through a penalty, as Remember Adomako was adjudged to have handled the ball in the penalty box.

Samba Oneil took the resulting penalty but missed the chance to give the Porcupine Warriors the lead in the fifth minute of the game.

The first half ended goalless, with the pair clearly probing each other relentlessly for the opener.

The second half failed to produce any goals between the two sides, with the game ending goalless and heading to penalties.

The Ogya boys capped the game with a 4-2 win on penalties to make it to the next round of the competition.
