Morocco rounded off their tournament in impressive fashion after beating Argentina 2-0 in the final of the FIFA U20 World Cup.
Yassir Zabiri opened the scoring with a thumping free kick right on the edge of the box to give the African side the much-needed leverage in the game.
Othmane Maamma dazzled his way past the Argentine defense to lay it off beautifully in the path of Zabiri, who made no mistake in tapping in from close range for the second of the game on the 29th minute.
Morocco beat top sides such as Spain, Brazil, and France in the lead-up to beating Argentina in the finals.
Argentina’s perfect run to the final saw them beat the likes of Australia, Italy, Nigeria, Mexico, and Colombia.

The result marks Argentina’s first loss in the tournament.
Morocco will revel in their glory and hope to build on this success at the youth level competitions.
