Ghana international Mohammed Salisu has opened up about his favorite position on the field after earning a mouthwatering move to Ligue1 outfit AS Monaco.

The central defender joined AS Monaco from English side, Southampton in a €15 million deal and is yet to make his bow for the side following an injury he suffered in the just-ended season.

This weekend, Salisu was out doored by the fans in their season opener against Clermont Foot.
Speaking to the media, he spoke on several issues, particularly his recovery and favorite position on the field on the French side.
“We have a really good young squad. I have to focus on the journey but I am working very hard in the gym and in training to be ready and to be back,” he said during the presentation.
“I often play on the left side and I am comfortable in the middle as well. I don’t mind playing both.”
Salisu will be hoping to make a quick recovery to action having last played actively in March 2023.
