Ghana defender, Mohammed Salisu could not hide his excitement at sealing his summer move to French club, AS Monaco.

Salisu passed his medicals and has since joined the team in pre-season and is said to be steadily integrating with the squad members.

King Faisal striker Samuel Adom Antwi signs for Rivers United in Nigeria

According to the 24- year old, his new move is a big step for him and he is ready to give it his best shot at the Ligue 1 side.

“It’s a very great club and I am happy to be here like I side it is a big step for my career,” he told the club’s media.

“I am looking forward to the journey, to win games and to be the best team we can be. I am very happy to be here. I arrived yesterday evening and I enjoy it here,” he ended.

In the absence of Benoît Badiashile, Axel Disasi, who has joined Chelsea, the Ghanaian will hope to impress manager, Adi Hutter as he competes for places with Guillermo Maripan, Chrislain Matsima, Jules Bery in the Ligue 1 campaign.
