Mohammed Kudus seals move to West Ham United.



Ghanaian football star Mohammed Kudus has officially completed a move to West Ham United in the Premier League from Ajax, signing a five-year contract after successfully clearing his medical examinations.

The transfer, valued at €44.5 million, solidifies his association with the Hammers.

Despite receiving interest from prominent European clubs like Chelsea, Arsenal, and Brighton and Hove Albion, the skillful forward opted to join West Ham United.

The club’s pursuit of Kudus stems from their desire to bolster their roster and maintain a high level of competitiveness throughout their campaign.

In an official statement, the club highlighted Kudus as an all-around strong player and an adept dribbler with the ability to both create and score goals.

His reputation as one of Europe’s most sought-after young talents has been further solidified by his move to London Stadium.

Kudus will don the number 14 jersey and is set to complement West Ham United’s already impressive attacking lineup, which features players like Jared Bowen, Michail Antonio, and Lucas Paqueta.

Kudus garnered attention from multiple clubs due to his exceptional performances, having scored 17 goals for Ajax in the previous season.

Additionally, he played a pivotal role for Ghana in the 2022 World Cup, where he netted two goals, including the crucial match-winner that secured the team’s first and only victory in the tournament.
