    Mohammed Kudus eyes African Footballer Award

    Ghana international Mohammed Kudus is optimistic about his ambitions off basking the most coveted individual award, CAF African Footballer of the Year soon.



    The young lad since his World Cup appearance in Qatar, where he netted a brace becoming the first Ghanaian to chalk that feat has followed up with some breathtaking performance for his Dutch side, Ajax.

    In the ongoing campaign, the hotshot has managed to score 20 goals, which has drawn loads of plaudits from the football populace as well as firm interest from a host of European clubs for his services.

    Speaking to Ajax TV, Kudus answered positively when quizzed about the prospect of winning the African best player award in the future.

    “I believe everything is possible in this world so definitely yeah I will be chosen one day,” he said.

    If Kudus manages to win the award, he will be the second player after Abedi Pele who won the CAF award three times in a row in 1993.
