Daniel Lomotey scores on Medeama debut in two all draw against Accra Lions.

In a highly anticipated clash between Medeama SC and Accra Lions, all eyes were on new signing Daniel Lomotey as he made his debut for Medeama.

The striker, known for his clinical finishing, did not disappoint, leaving a mark on the game that ended in an exhilarating 2-2 draw.

Accra Lions began the match as the more dominant team, and their hard work paid off when defender Samuel Gyimah netted the opening goal in the first half.

Medeama’s recent acquisition, Daniel Lomotey, equalized the score with a splendid finish after the halftime break. Nevertheless, with just ten minutes remaining, Accra Lions surged ahead once more.

Ali Mohammed, a recent addition to the Accra-based team, delivered a powerful strike to secure the lead for the visitors. Yet, the home team countered with a goal from Black Stars forward Jonathan Sowah, just four minutes before the final whistle.

Lomotey, who joined Medeama with high expectations, proved why he’s considered one of Ghana’s brightest talents. Since coming on in the 39th minutes, his presence on the pitch was palpable, and it didn’t take long for him to announce his arrival in style.

For Daniel Lomotey, this debut was more than just a game; it was a statement. His seamless integration into Medeama’s team and his clinical finishing demonstrated that he is a force to be reckoned with in Ghana’s football landscape.

As the season progresses, all eyes will be on Lomotey to see how he continues to influence matches and lead Medeama’s charge together with Jonathan Sowah.

If this debut is any indication, fans can expect to witness more memorable moments from this talented striker in the games to come.
