The Brands Manager of Nations Football Club, Kennedy Boakye Ansah, has remarked that they might disband the club after scores of violence at the Ampain AAK II Arena.
The Kumasi-based club walked out of their game against HolyStars after the playing body, including scores of the technical team, was threatened at the Ampain AAK II Arena.

Holy Stars got their noses in front through a penalty. Still, things took a different note in the 33rd minute after the home side were awarded a second penalty of the afternoon – a decision that sparked outrage among Nations FC players and coaching staff.
Speaking on 3FM, Boakye Ansah has opened up about the club’s next line of action.
“Maybe we might disband Nations FC and forget about running football in this country because it’s not worth it. Whatever we saw today and what we were subjected to, it’s not worth it. We might have to advise ourselves,” he said.
“It depends on the report of the match commissioner, but we will file an official complaint to the GFA, and we will see what decision the FA will take. We are not interested in Ghana football anymore. We are tired.”
