    Ghana forward, Maxwell Abbey-Quaye starred for Al Sinaa in the first league game of the season against Al Karkh in the Iraqi League. 



    The dynamic forward, who is capable of playing out wide on the left, as a second striker and mostly as an arrowhead was pivotal in helping his side secure a 1-1 draw in the first league game of the season.

    Quaye played 75 minutes in a cagy encounter which saw him being withdrawn towards the end of the game.

    The Ghanaian international will hope to inspire the Iraqi-based club with his goals and assist this season as they push for promotion back to the Premier League after they faced a demotion from it last season.

    Quaye previously played for Great Olympics (Ghana), Duhok SC, FK Loznica, and presently with Al Sinaa.
