    Ghana forward Maxwell Abbey-Quaye has joined Saudi Arabian club Al Jeel for the remainder of the season.

     



    The prolific forward will join from Al Qalah.

    Quaye has been impressive for Al Qalah in the ongoing Saudi Arabia Division Two league; he was involved in 13 goal contributions in 19 games.

    Al Jeel are two points adrift of Al Ain, with 36 points, having scored 36 and conceded 22 in 20 games.

    They will hope to rely on the attacking efficiency of the 25-year-old, which will be a massive addition to their hopes of qualifying for Division One from the Second Division League.

    Abbey-Quaye was a household name in the Ghana Premier League with Accra Great Olympics before moving on to clubs such as Duhok, Al Sinaa, SK Zilina, and the Saudi Arabian clubs Al-Tehami and Al Qalah.
