With that in mind, the duo will give it their best shot when they take to the pitch over the weekend in a game with lots riding on it for either setup.

The Phobians have picked a single win in five games which came to giants Medeama SC in a home fixture that said, it’s been two losses and a draw, such a poor feat for a title-chasing side.

They sit 7th on the log with 41 points the only glimmer of hope being their defensive records, conceding just 17 goals while scoring 22.

However, Karela United finds itself in similar circumstances to the season before, when they battled relegation to the very end until they escaped by the skin of their teeth.

They have struggled immensely this season; 16th place with 28 points from 27 matches.

Their away games are nothing to write home about. They have lost 7 in 8 games and failed to score a single goal during the process.

If Coach Nurudeen Amadu and his boys desire to stay in the with just seven games to finish the league then they have to play above their weight levels starting with this weekend game against the Phobians.

Bibiani Gold Stars will host Aduana Stars at Dun’s Park in Bibiani.

Both teams are at opposite ends of the league table.

The Miners have struggled for consistency in the league so far, so it is hardly surprising that they occupy 15th spot with 10 points, just above the relegation zone – quite unusual for a former league champion.

Aduana have picked three wins from five games in the league.

Their most recent win was against the regional rivals, Berekum Chelsea through an Amankona brace.

They will hoping to repeat the dosage against a difficult opponent, Goldstars.

Bar Hearts of Oak, they are the second best defensive side in the league, with just 5 goals conceded.
