    A Kalo Outtara goal for Asante Kotoko spurred their blushes in a spirited encounter against the Accra Lions at the Accra Sports Stadium. 

     



    The visitors were coming into the game on the back sharing the spoils at home with Karela United. At the same time, the Lions themselves also managed a point away from home to Berekum Chelsea at Golden City Park.

    The Porcupine Warriors started the early exchanges of the game on the front foot as they created a plethora of chances through, Steven Mukwala firing from distance, Yahaya Baba’s harmless free-kick was equally dealt with by Accra Lions goalkeeper Daniel Afful.

    After the break, Dominic Amponsah, and Baba Apiiga were subbed on for Kesse and David Oduro for Accra Lions.

    Prosper Ogum Narteh effected a tactical taking off, Steve Mukwala for Kalo Ouattara, who bagged in the winner in additional time through a header to send the visiting fans into ruptures cheers and jeers, 1-0. 

    The win lifts, Kotoko to 9th on the log, scheduled to play Aduana Stars in game week five fixture at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium while the Lions will face Great Olympics.
