RTU came from a goal down to beat Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium in the penultimate round of games in the ongoing betPawa Premier League.

The host was coming into this fixture on the back of three consecutive losses and was looking to make amends with a victory over RTU at home.

The away side was presented with a fine opportunity to open the scoring but former Hearts of Oak forward, Umar Manaf scuffed his chance to aid his side into the lead not long, Seidu Suraj threaded an intelligent pass through to Congolese playmaker, Linda Mtange, who chested and ballooned the ball past goalkeeper, Yaw Osei.

Former, player Umar Manaf, who had become a thorn in the flesh of his former side reacted quickly to a ball in the eighteen-yard box to bundle home the equalizer in the 46th minute.

The game become heated as it wore on, Eric Esso of Hearts of Oak was sent off for the second bookable offense in the 76th minute of the game, reducing his side to a numerical disadvantage, which the away side capitalized on four minutes later courtesy, Dankwa Stephen Badu scoring his seventh of the season.
