    Bibiani Gold Stars were back to winning ways with a thumping home victory over second-placed Samartex at Dun’s Park on Sunday, December 17, 2023.



    A culmination of bad results led to the sacking of Michael Osei for Frimpong Manso, who started his reign on a bright note with a home win to set the ball rolling.

    The hosts were rewarded with their dominance, Alex Aso scored the game’s first goal at the twenty minutes’ mark which they held on to mark the end of the first half.

    Twenty minutes after the game resumed, the prolific forward was back on the scoresheet with his second on the day. 

    Prince Kwabena Owusu wrapped up the victory for the Miners at the 80th-minute mark.

    The win takes the host to 14th with 15 points and will travel away to Medeama SC While Samartex will feel crushed by the results they will regroup and play at home to Karela United on December, 31,2023.
