Dreams FC took a giant leap in securing Premier League football for next season at the expense of fellow opponent, Great Olympics at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu.

The two teams went head-to-head in a crucial fixture that had the potential of defining their stay in the league.
Coach Karim Zito named a strong starting berth with the likes of Boateng Mensah, Sylvester Simba, Ali Huzaf, and Collins Boah featuring heavily in the lineup.

Meanwhile, coach Kobby Mensah did similarly by presenting notable players such as Ashie-Quaye, Razak Kasim, Oko Grippman, and Emmanuel Akesseh in his lineup for the game.

The first half saw the two teams create a host of chances but sadly neither of them was clinical enough to bury the ball behind the net, with referee, Julian Nii Akwa Nunoo blowing his whistle for the end of the first half proceedings.

Seven minutes after the second half resumed, Godfred Kingsley Atuahene put the home side in the lead to send the home side into a frenzy, 1-0 up.

Match Preview Prediction: Dreams vs Great Olympics

The 76th restored the away side to parity to set up a nervy end to the game, which saw both sides go at each other in search of the ultimate winner.

Ali Huzaf will have the final say for the home side banging in the winner, which saw them edge a tightly knitted game to the excitement of their fans.

The result sees them up to 6th position on the log momentarily whiles the Dade boys are a point above the relegation safety net.
