    Ghana Premier League holders, Medeama SC made light work of their fellow opponents, Aduana Stars in a thrilling encounter at the Akoon Community Park.


    The home side showed enough supremacy in the game that was rescheduled for Thursday after it was rained off the day before, Wednesday, 20, March,2024.

    The two sides played the second half with lots of attacking promise and intent. 

    With 17 minutes to end proceedings, former GoldStars player, Michael Enu tapped in the first goal of the game.  

    Derrick Fordjour got his name on the scoresheet in additional time of the 90 minutes with the second goal of the game.

    The win sees the holders of the league, tied on points with two other former Premier League winners, Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko on 32 points after 22 games. 

    Aduana Stars will travel to the capital to face off with the Great Olympics whiles, while the Mauve and Yellow side will be at home to Dreams FC for game week twenty-three of the league.
