    Medeama S.C. breathed life into their title challenge as they beat Aduana Stars at the TnA Park in Tarkwa.  

     



    Coach Ibrahim Tanko named a rather strong lineup at home against the Dorma-based side.

    His boys created several chances in the first half of the game but failed to find the back of the net.

    Michael Sarpong’s brilliance in the second half paid off as his mazy run saw him fouled by an opposing player in the penalty box. 

    Yussif Mubarik made no mistake from the 18-yard box as he expertly converted to give the Mauve and Yellow boys the lead.

    From creating the initial penalty, Sarpong was on hand to add a cherry to the cake in the final quarter of the game. 

    The Mauve and Yellow held on to secure a win which marks a run of six unbeaten home matches.
