    Former Ghana Premier League champions, Medeama SC continued their dominance over Legon Cities when they met at the University of Ghana Stadium.

     



    The pair went head-to-head in game week two of the Ghana Premier League.

    The away side got their acts together and found themselves in front through, defender, Kamaradini Mamudu’s first-half strike which they solidly protected throughout the game.

    Legon Cities resumed the second half with a much better intensity than the first half but failed to make ample use of the chances they created in the game.

    This defeat leaves Legon Cities at the bottom of the league with no points from two games.

    The win aids the Tarkwa-based side to record back-to-back wins in the 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League having pitched a home win over Accra Lions at the TnA Park.
