Kotoko suffered another humbling defeat at home to cross rivals Nations FC in week eleven of the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

The home side was coming into the game on the back of three consecutive losses and with pressure looming on Prosper Ogum Narteh, he needed an improved result to lessen the burden of weight on his shoulders from the teeming impatient fans of the club.

Guinean goalkeeper, Mohammed Camara was named in the post, Samba O’niel, Henry Ansu, Joseph Ablorh, Patrick Asiedu, Lord Amoah in defense, Baba Yahaya, Michael Kyei, Andrews Ntim in midfield, Kyei-Baffour, Saaka Dauda in attack.

Meanwhile, Kassim Mingle’s side was on a breath of fresh run picking three wins from three, scoring, 7 goals, and yet to concede, making them an impossible side to play against in the league.

Nafiu Sulemana shot the away side into the lead at the 31st-minute mark of the game after Mohammed Camara misjudged the flight of a cross from the right-hand of attack from the away side.

On the brink of halftime, Mohammed Camara made a mess of a back pass from a teammate as he allowed, inform Faisal Charwetey to steal the ball off him and score his 8th in 11 games and his side’s second on the day.

The second half flew past with Kotoko probing for an equalizer as the away side held on to their first-half lead.

Kotoko is still winless against Nations FC in 3 attempts as they lie 8th with 15 points. They play Aduana Stars away from home in their next encounter.
