    Kotoko lost to Samartex in a rescheduled game from Monday to Tuesday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.



    The Porcupine Warriors were in the hunt to keep up places with the title leaders, GoldStars and Medeama SC.

    The first saw few chances created, but it was the goalkeeper, Aziz Haruna Dari, who was the busiest of the two goalkeepers, pulling brilliant saves from Christian Boateng and Latif Abdul shots.

    Agbesimah was deemed to have fouled Albert Amoah in the box, with referee Nathan Anafo awarding a penalty.

    Samba O’neil missed the penalty, but Albert Amoah scored from the rebound to peg the game at 2-1.
    Kotoko will travel away to Medeama SC, while Samartex will be at home to Berekum Chelsea.
