Karela United continued their recent dominance over former league winners, Kotoko in game week twenty of the ongoing Ghana Premier League at the Naa Sheriga Sports Complex.

The hosts hosts had lost a single game in their last five games but that spurred them on to fight for all three points up for grabs in their crunch weekend topliner against the Porcupine Warriors.

The first half of the game raced to a drab goalless half with the two sides failing to find the back of the net.

The second half of the game saw both sides play with loads of attacking intensity and purpose with the host the most likely of the two to find the breakthrough which came in the 62nd minute through a header from Giyasu Ibrahim.

The Pride and Passions is up to 13th on the log with 23 points momentarily while Kotoko is 3 points adrift table toppers, Samartex.
