Hearts of Oak shared the spoils in their home fixture against Nsoatreman FC in game week twelve of the ongoing Ghana Premier League at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

The Phobians, having enjoyed a new lease of fine form, were looking to continue this weekend, but it didn’t materialize as they could only manage a point at home.

The away side got their noses in front after Stephen Diyou pounced on a goal-mouth melee to slot home the goal in the early embers of the game.

They went close to extending their lead with two glorious opportunities but failed to punish the Phobians.

Salim Adams found the equalizer moments later, sending the home fans into a frenzy.

The first half ended 1-1 between both teams.

The host created a host of chances, Salim Adams was by far the attacking threat for them as he spurned three big chances to edge them on to victory but failed to make good use of any of them.

Both teams cushioned their efforts with a point, with the away side walking away with a smile after losing all their 5 previous away games on the road.

The next game is against Dreams FC while Hearts of Oak will travel to Obuasi to face Kotoko in the cliffhanger for game week thirteen of the Ghana Premier League.
