Hearts of Oak continued their fine form in the season as they picked up a vital away win against Karela United at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.

The Pride and Passions boys have recorded just a point from their three games which they were looking to alter positively against a rejuvenated, Accra-based side.

The away side got their noses in front as early as the 3rd minute of the game through slippery forward Hamza Issah much to the delight of their fans present at the stadium.

The home side tried efforts of their own to pull parity in the game but a resolute defense spearheaded by Kelvin Osei Asibey and Samuel Amofa was on hand to nullify their efforts.

The second half failed to produce any goals between the two sides.

Coach Ouutara effected two changes, taking off gaolgetter, Hamza Issah, Samuel Amofa for Asanoah Baoteng, and Michael Awuah at the 75th-minute mark.

The visitors held on to pick their third victory from six games aiding them to 18th on the log.
