Hearts of Oak made the most of their home advantage as they secured a home win at the expense of a championship-chasing, Nations FC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday evening.

The Phobians have not enjoyed the best of fortunes as yet towards the end of the league.

The home side asserted dominance in the game with two quick goals to unsettle their visitors in week 32 of the game in the league.

Kassim Cisse connected well to a Dennis Korsah cross from the left side to score the opening goal of the game in the 7th minute to send the home fans into a frenzy.

Not later than seven minutes later, Hamza Issah turned his marker beautifully after receiving a decent pass from Linda Mtange for the game’s second goal.

The second half failed to produce any goals as both teams went at each other with every muscle of armory in attack.

The win sees the home side, five points adrift of the relegation zone pending other games.

Similarly, the Nations will hope to solidify the second spot with two games remaining in the ongoing 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
