Hearts of Oak made light work of former Ghana Premier League champions, Medeama SC at a heavily parked TnA Stadium in Tarkwa.

The pair went head to head in a show of superiority.

The host has so far enjoyed a roller-coaster season, having picked 15 points from 8 games in the lead-up to the crunch encounter against Hearst of Oak gave them that slight confidence and advantage.

Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak’s inconsistency left so much to be desired as they lost their weekend home duel against GoldStars from Bibiani raising loads of pressure on the technical team led by Outtara Aboukar and the playing body,

The usual backline had, Benjamin Asare, Kevin Osei Asibey, Samuel Amofa, Emmanuel Amankwah, and Ransford Mensah, Theophilus Collinson deployed as the defensive fulcrum, Sani Mohammed, Mohamed Husein, Kwabena Boateng as the attacking trio with Hamza Issah leading the lines.

Coach Kapor deployed, Appiah Kubi in the post, Emanuel Cudjoe, Kamaradini Mamudu, Fatawu Sulemana, Nurudeen Abdulai, David Boison, Prosper Owusu, Manuel Mantey, Nana Kofi Babil, Kingsley Braye, Diawusie Taylor.

The first half flew past with no goals to choose between the two sides.

The second half resumed with much more urgency between the two sides, probing unbending for the breakthrough.

Hamza Issah got to the end of a flick from a teammate, bodied his way through the defense, and shot past Appiah Kubi. Kwabena Boateng tapped in from close range for the opener in the 63rd minute.
