    Hearts of Oak bagged their first win in the second round campaign of the Ghana Premier League with a thumping victory over a beleaguered Real Tamale United at the Accra Sports Stadium.



    The former champions ended the first-round campaign with a victory over Bechem United and looked set to continue right from where they left off.

    The Phobians have recruited Ivorian Coach, Abubakar Ouattara, who didn’t shy away from electing a very strong starting berth, Richard Attah was in between the sticks, Kofi Agbesimah, Thomas Winimi Dennis Korsah, Yaw Baafi in defense, Salim Adams and Glid Otanga, Salifu Ibrahim, Linda Mtange in midfield wholes Cisse Kassim and Hamza Issah formed the fulcrum in attack.
    The away side had Rauf Mahammud in goal, and other players such as Faisal Garuba, Mustapha Fuseini, Baba Kushibo, Enock Agblenyo, Hafiz Adams, and others.

    The home side made their presence very early in the game as Ivorian forward, Kassim Cisse combined with Hamza Issah to shoot the Phobians into the lead with a superbly taken goal in the 17th minute.
    Hamza Issah doubled his tally on the day as he got on to the end of a sweet delivery from a textbook corner from Salifu Ibrahim for the game’s second goal.
    RTU created a few chances in the game but their efforts were met with equal resistance from Richard Attah in post for the home side.

    Issah Kuka teed up second-half substitute, Enock Asubonteng who collected the pass and blasted a ferocious shot past the helpless, goalkeeper, Rauf Mahammud.
    Hearts will travel away to high-flying Nsoatreman FC while RTU will be home to Bofoakwa Tano.
