    Great Olympics and Accra Hearts of Oak have failed to pick up maximum wins at the expense of each other in a goalless Ga-Mashie derby at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Friday, December 22, 2023.



    Both teams failed to take the chances that came their way in a breathless and enthralling encounter on Friday evening. The first half ended goalless with the best chances falling to the Phobians.

    Salifu Ibrahim delivered a perfect free kick in the 14th minute but missed the post by a whisker much to the relief of goalkeeper, Benjamin Asare.

    The silky who has become an integral figure for the setup since his return from injury nearly broke the deadlock with a ferocious left-foot shot but the crossbar was there to save the blushed Dade boys on the 34th-minute mark the resulting shot from Linda Mtange caused little worry to the host.

    Great Olympics travel away to RTU similarly Hearts will be at home to Bechem.
