GoldStars ended game twenty-two of the ongoing Ghana Premier League with a home victory over Bofoakwa Tano.

A goal each from Alex Aso and Appiah McCarthy in the first half of the game was enough for the host to steal the win though Solomon Oblitey grabbed a consolation it failed to deter the host from picking their fifth consecutive home win.

Alex Aso opened the scoring just three minutes into the game with a magnificent goal not later than six minutes former AshGold midfielder, Appiah McCarthy added the second of the game.

The host pulled one through Solomon Oblitey on the 28th-minute mark but that couldn’t help them salvage a win to talk off a draw away at Duns Park.

Frimpong Manso and his charges are up to 10th on the log with Bofoakwa Tano playing home to Karela United in their next home game fixture.

The Sunyani-based club will have to get their acts right in their next home game as things are currently looking dire for them in the league, stationed 16th on the log with just 23 points from 22 games.
