    The BlackStars of  Ghana lost to Germany in an international friendly in Stuttgart on Monday.



    The West African side were humbled by Austria some three days ago and needed to achieve a result to undo their wrongs, which they did in a good fashion against the German machine.
    Coach Otto made two changes to the side that got humbled by Austria.

    Benjaimen Asare was brought in for Ati-Zigi, while Oppong Preprah, coming in for Fatawu Issahaku, settled in a three-back system.
    The Germans created a lot of chances in the first half through Havertz, Woltemade, and Gnarby, but were finally rewarded on the brink of halftime as Jonas Adjetey was deemed to have handled the ball.

    Havertz scored the resulting penalty on the stroke of half-time.
    With 20 minutes to go, Fatawu Issahaka made great work of a low cross from Kohn to make it 1-1.
    There was room for one more goal as Deniz Undav poked in the match-winner with two minutes to spare, with an assist from Leroy Sane to get the score at 2-1.

    The BlackStars lost both friendly games against Austria and now Germany.
    They will face Mexico on May,22 and Wales on June,2,2026.
