FC Samartex drew goalless with Kotoko at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena in Samreboi on Sunday.

The game marked a lot of interesting spectacle between the two teams with contrasting fortunes in the league.
Samartex lost their away game against Bechem United and needed to win at home to bolster their chances of getting a better standing in the league.

Meanwhile, Kotoko also came into the duel as the only unbeaten team after ten games in the ongoing league.
Both teams gave the fans their money’s worth with enterprising football on display.
Goalkeeper Mohammed Camara was a constant thorn in the flesh of the home team, as he  produced a masterclass to deny them on several occasions.
He was on point to deny Emmanuel Mamah’s penalty in the second half of the game.

The away team  had a penalty appeal in the 57th minute when Patrick Asiedu won a corner and delivered into the box, where Joseph Ablorh appeared to be pulled, but the referee waved play on.
Samartex will play Berekum Chelsea next week, while Kotoko are up against Holy Stars from Basake.
