Dreams FC coasted to a 2-1 victory over Medeama SC in a spirited encounter at the Tuba AstroTurf on Sunday.

Aminu Adams shot the home team into the lead with five minutes to end proceedings in the first half, setting the tone for the second half.

After the break it took four minutes for Ali Razak to double the lead for the “Still Believe” side, who had just recorded one win in their last five games.
The goal propelled a frantic finale between the two teams, but it was the visiting team that made their possession and chance creation count, as they managed to halve the deficit through Kelvin Nkrumah in the 75th minute.
The final quarter of the half-hour mark produced a cagy finale as the home team looked to preserve their slender lead with the away team constantly probing for the much-needed equalizer.

The win pushes Dreams FC to 9th on the log with 34 points from 26 games.
Meanwhile, Medeama SC’s dismal run continues as they are winless in their last six games in the league. A run that needs to end as they face off with the beleaguered side, Eleven Wonders, at the TnA Park in a fortnight.
