Bibiani Gold Stars reclaimed their position at the summit of the Ghana Premier League with a home win over Nations FC at Dun’s Park on Sunday.
They beat Nations FC by 2-1 at the Duns Park in a game keenly contested by both teams.
The league’s top goal scorer, Samuel Atta Kumi opened the scoring in the 21st minute to set the tone for the game.

The defending champions of the league doubled their lead by an own goal Asante Boaben in the 25th minute.
Five minutes later, Razak Simpson expertly stepped up to convert a penalty on the half-hour mark to halve the scores.
The second half failed to produce any goals as they both battled for superiority in the game.

The home team will have it all to do when they play away Aduana FC in Dormaa at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park.
Nations drop to 14th place, just two points above safety, as they battle relegation.
