Gold Stars asserted their superiority at the summit of the table as they cruised to a 2-0 win over Vision FC at Dun’s Park on Sunday, November 24, 2024.

The Miners were on a losing side to the Western rivals, Medeama SC a week ago and were looking to get back to winning ways over the weekend against the newly promoted side, Vision FC.

Both teams failed to score after the first half after a lot of chances went begging.

Nine minutes after recess, fans’ favorite, Samuel Atta Kumi was on hand to register the first goal of the game to send the home fans into delirium.

Twelve minutes later, the forward scored his brace for the game after his shot to a massive hit off an opposition player, Godfred Boakye to scale past the goalkeeper, Francis Lotsa for the second goal of the game.

The win aids the Bibiani side to the apex of the table with 23 points after Nations FC lost at home to Berekum Chelsea.

Gold Stars will play Karela United who managed a win over Dreams FC at the Tuba AstroTurf next weekend.
