    Kotoko played out a goalless draw against Hearts of Lions at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. 

     



    Lions had started the league with so much resilience, having picked up three wins in their earlier duels.

    Fresh from beating Nigeria club, Kwara United,in the preliminary stages of the CAF Confederations Cup, they were buoyed with confidence to get all three points, and it was clear what the team set out to do right from the blast of the referee’s whistle.

    Albert Amoah came closest to opening the scoring with an acrobatic bicycle kick in the 26th minute that rattled the crossbar.

    Both teams took turns to create a myriad of chances in the second half, but failed to make full use of them.

    They settled for a point each at the end of the day.

    The Porcupine Warriors will play Bibiani GoldStars before facing Hearts of Oak and Basake Holy Stars, as they prepare for their CAF Confederation Cup clash with Wydad Casablanca.

    Meanwhile, Heart of Lions stay top of the Premier League table, one point clear of Medeama, and will next host Berekum Chelsea in Kpando.
